Baywest Clinic Started in November 2012
Baywest Wellness Clinic was started in November 2012. BWC first opened its doors at Baywest Centre in Montego Bay, Jamaica with two main doctors.
Since then, three additional locations have been opened, inclusive of an operating theatre certified by the Ministry of Health in Jamaica. Our client based has also increased ten-fold partly due to referrals from existing patients/organizations.
Baywest Wellness Clinic, (BWC) was conceptualised from the need to establish a medical centre that provides premier health care, treatment, and prevention of lifestyle related and critical conditions to all at the most impressive rates.
Our Hospital
We offer a wide range of medical specialties that is coupled with the provision of high quality care by our caring and knowledgeable staff. Our staffing is made up of doctors that hail from some of the finest academic programs in the region and bring with them new approaches to treating diseases and other ailments.
We seek to always integrate new technologies for diagnosis and treatment in conjunction with the expertise on offer. In particular, through a partnership with Blue Horizon International we offer a form of treatment linked to stem cell research that is expected to revolutionize the medical field in Jamaica. Through
procedures involving tissue from the umbilical cord, this form of treatment will enhance the way how things are done.
Baywest Wellness also provides for the best in term of pregnancy care where we specialize in both prenatal and postnatal care. Our experts ensure that deliveries are comfortable and safe experiences for everyone involved. Currently we can be compared to a one stop shop for all things related to babies,
delivery and the care that revolves around it.
Currently the new facility offers a variety of services to include Medical and Specialty clinics, Pregnancy care and delivery, Operating theatre (major and minor), Surgical services, Imaging (CT scan, ultrasound, x-ray, mammography), Fifteen (15) bed suites, Lab services, Maternity wards, Neonatal services
(phototherapy units), Premature delivery management (incubators). A sleep lab will soon also be in place for those who require that form of treatment.
