APPOINTMENTS

To schedule an appointment please contact our individual offices.   Appointments are allotted 15 – 30 minutes, however, if you believe you may require an extended period please inform the receptionist prior to your consultation.  To ensure we are better able to serve you and our other patients, please make every effort to arrive at the scheduled appointment time.

We offer a walk-in service with 24 hour access to our General Practitioners.  Each patient will be seen on a first come first served basis.  If you will require a consultation with a specific physician please call in advance to ascertain availability.

While we do our best to go by appointments accommodate walk in, there are times when emergencies pop up where priority has to be given to the individual who needs immediate attention.  We do crave your understanding in such situations

We will call you the day before your appointment to remind you of your scheduled visit.

Feel free to call us anytime before your appointment if you want to cancel or reschedule.

If you would like to consult with a physician and are unable to visit the clinic, you may request a telephone appointment.  To schedule, please call the receptionist and give him/her your telephone number and preferred contact time

If you require the assistance of a chaperone during your scheduled visit you may take someone along with you or request a staff member to act as your chaperone. Please note that our ability to provide a chaperone will depend on our staffing levels at that time.

If you are on recurring medication that has been prescribed after surgery or consultation, you may order a repeat prescription without seeing the doctor.  However, if you are a new patient you must consult with one of our physicians before any medication can be prescribed.

You may collect your prescription within a 24 hour period after your initial request has been made.  You may call at any time to confirm that your order is ready for pick up prior to visiting the clinic.

You may request your results from the receptionist who can look into your medical record.  However, please bear in mind that our receptionists are not clinicians and cannot interpret your results.  To discuss your results please make a telephone appointment with your attending doctor.

We have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection and will only discuss results with the patient directly.

Prior to a consultation or surgery you may request a specific doctor.  However, availability will depend on the physician’s schedule, please review our timetable for further information.
