Montego Bay, Jamaica– (October 4, 2018) The ability to meet the needs of residents in St James as well as adjoining parishes got a major boost with the opening of a new Baywest Wellness Clinic medical facility in Rose Hall.
This is now the fourth such facility that is dedicated to providing the best quality healthcare to the citizens of Jamaica. This new location is located at the Half Moon Shopping Village and now joins the other locations at Fairview, Baywest Mall, and Tastee Plaza.
This new facility boasts a number of services but in particular it will be pioneering an innovative version of stem cell therapy. Dr. Spencer of Baywest Wellness disclosed that this groundbreaking type of treatment is being offered through a partnership with Blue Horizon International and is expected to revolutionize the medical field in Jamaica. Through procedures involving tissue from the umbilical cord, this form of treatment will enhance the way how things are done.
Baywest Wellness also provides for the best in term of pregnancy care where we specialize in both prenatal and postnatal care. Currently the new facility offers a variety of services to include Medical and Specialty clinicism Pregnancy care and delivery , Operating theatre (major and minor), Surgical services , Imaging (CT scan, ultrasound, x-ray, mammography), Fifteen (15) bed suites,
Lab services, Maternity wards, Neonatal services (phototherapy units), Premature delivery management (incubators). A sleep lab will soon also be in place for those who require that form of treatment.
